Photography has been a passion of mine for a long time but it never ceases to amaze me at the new opportunities that are put before me because of it. Many of you know that I volunteer for Downtown Crossville and that we had a "Cruise In" every fourth weekend. I was able to go up in a plane and photograph the days event how fun!!!!!!

Jr. Championship of Cumberland County October 26th

We have a fall golf league. It has been designed to help provide exposure and experience to some of our local kids. When we built the new high school we took one elementary team and split it between two schools it has really affected the number of players for each school. The elementary team has even had numbers drop. With this being the Golf Capital of Tennessee, I do not feel our kids should be forced to go out of the county to get tournament experience.

We will be having the first Jr. Championship of Cumberland County to be held at Four Seasons Golf course on October 26th Sunday at 1:00p.m. we will be opening this to students of Cumberland County 3rd through 8th grade. 9 holes will be played with every stroke counting. We will have two divisions, Birdies (inexperienced tournament players) Eagles (experienced tournament players). The kids will be playing by grade level.

Here’s what we need:

People to check in and register players, hand out goody bags, decorate tee boxes with Halloween/ Fall decorations also clean up crew.
I need help collecting items for goody bags.

Please let me know if you are interested in helping and in what capacity. The kids in the golf league have been working really hard and are looking forward to this event.

This was such a blessing this winter has been so hard not being able to be outside taking pictures so when Philip called wanting to take pictures of the girls for his wife for Valentines I said YES! Of course with all of the sickness that had been going around we had to reschedule once or twice but because of that we got a warm afternoon that we could get outside. It was great, thanks for letting me contribute my part. Philip wrote a song, bought the photos on disc and made a DVD. Once again hear me when I say I love what I do! Needless to say his wife was pleased and shocked that the girls didn't give the seceret away.
