We have a fall golf league. It has been designed to help provide exposure and experience to some of our local kids. When we built the new high school we took one elementary team and split it between two schools it has really affected the number of players for each school. The elementary team has even had numbers drop. With this being the Golf Capital of Tennessee, I do not feel our kids should be forced to go out of the county to get tournament experience.
We will be having the first Jr. Championship of Cumberland County to be held at Four Seasons Golf course on October 26th Sunday at 1:00p.m. we will be opening this to students of Cumberland County 3rd through 8th grade. 9 holes will be played with every stroke counting. We will have two divisions, Birdies (inexperienced tournament players) Eagles (experienced tournament players). The kids will be playing by grade level.
Here’s what we need:
People to check in and register players, hand out goody bags, decorate tee boxes with Halloween/ Fall decorations also clean up crew.
I need help collecting items for goody bags.
